Hi, I’m Chris. I’m an instructional designer and humanities specialist. I spent seven years in academic publishing and over ten as an English teacher.
I’m committed to the idea that learning is essential not only for professional life, but for living in a democratic society, for living meaningfully, for understanding ourselves, for navigating our ever-changing world, testing ideas, considering consequences, and imagining and shaping the future we want.
This broad view of learning collapses the boundary between professional and personal development. The courses I design—interdisciplinary in nature with a deep focus on the humanities—are intended to bridge the gap and equip learners with relevant skills, powerful tools, and new perspectives.
